Castle Neustadt - Glewe
The old house, re-built in the 18th century, was subject to many changes of use during the following centuries. For example, a technical school was established in 1882. The castle was completely renovated in 2006. On the first floor of the 'new house', you can find exhibitions of the castle, local history, and special exhibitions of various themes. During a tour through the castle, the dungeon tower, guard and military, and the living room are open to visitors. The 'Hofstube', with wall paintings from Gothic and Renaissance style and a medieval warm air heating, is of special importance.
