Alpincenter Hamburg - Wittenburg
– Europe's biggest indoor snow and leisure park–
A winter and experience world is located right next to the A24, the highway Hamburg-Berlin. Europe's biggest indoor and snow park is a 30 minute drive from Hamburg and a 90 minute drive from Berlin.
The entire year a 30.000 square meter sized snow area will be available, with 5 different slopes of varying gradients of 10% till 31%, from the children's slopes and beginner's slopes to the main slope and the fun park for the freestylers. Unique in the world in alpincenter Hamburg-Wittenburg is the integrated indoor half-pipe, equal in dimensions as prescribed by the FIS regulations. Therefore international competitions for snowboarders is possible here.

You can retreat in one of the 124 comfortably furnished rooms of Van der Valk hotel Hamburg-Wittenburg, after an adventurous day. A 'sauna village' with various relaxing saunas is directly located next to the hotel and provides additional relaxation.
Schweriner Climing wall
Climb up the tree! Right next to the zoo of Schwerin are six courses located with over 50 exciting climbing challenges. You do not have to be an athlete, regular fitness is sufficient, no matter whether old or young, tall or small. Experience the adventure in swing on to new heights!
Bear forest Müritz
The bear forest Müritz offers bears an animal friendly home. Currently 10 brown bears life in the 50.000 square meter enclosure. Get to know these animals better during a hike through the forest and at the individual stations.
International fire department museum Schwerin
Germany's biggest fire department museum displays over 4000 square meter, approximately 14.000 items, amongst others, 100 vehicles used since the establishment of the fire department in 1990. Gaze during you visit to the museum at some rare vehicles from the GDR, and helmet and coin collections from over the entire world.
Ostrich farm Riederfelde
The ostrich farm, with about 150 ostriches, is located in the heart of Mecklenburg. The small family company has been offering both a visit to the ostriches with many interesting information, as well as a farm shop with many products of ostriches (like meat), since 2004 from April till October.
Elephant city Platschow
Make use of this unique opportunity to get into direct contact with the gray giants either through feeding them or through a ride on them. Other animals are also on display within this farm, such as sea lions, antilope or raccoons. Experience the varied shows of the animals in 'Elefantendorf' Platschow, daily from April till October.
