Baltic sea coast with Rostock and Warnemünde
The Hanseatic city of Rostock is always a popular destinations. Either for a stroll through the shoppings streets or for a stroll through the beautiful old town. Let yourself be captured by the special atmosphere of this seaside resort, during a walk through downtown Warnemünde along the old river and the boulevard. Next you can take a wonderful trip from Bad Doberan with the narrow gauge railway "Molli" over the Heiligendamm to Kühlungsborn. This city has done a lot in recent years to recover the former glory. The boulevard with cozy restaurants and bars, new shopping stress and the beautifully maintained parks attract more and more visitors. A promenade along the beach boulevard is wonderful as well.
State capital Schwerin
The state capital of Mecklenburg Vorpommern is always an interesting excursion destination. The city's image has changed a lot in recent years, in which the old and the new are well harmonized. Your citytrip can start with a visit to the castle. Other sightseeing locations are the wonderful old town, the stables and the state theater of Schwerin. A must-do is a trip with the white fleet on the lake of Schwerin. You can drink a coffee in the newly renovated "Turm-Cafe" in the TV tower of Schwerin.
Plau
For tourist along, on and in the water offers health resort 'Plau am See', from origin a Slavic settlement called 'Plawe', the ideal starting point. The big lake of Plau with various water activities invites you to the medieval town of fishermen and rafters.
This location offers two ferry trips on the big lakes to cities like Malchow, Waren and Röbel. The unique water landsscape can be enjoyd and experienced by boat, canoe or sailing tour. Along the Müritz-Elde-waterway you can admire passage locks, a water tower and a suspension bridge dating from 1916. The medieval castle tower and the half-timbered houses form an additional sightseeing in the city Plau. On the promenade guests can enjoy quaint bars in a relaxed atmosphere. The nature and conservation area in Plau will invite you for a walk and bike trip.
Töpferhof Hohenwoos
You will find a wide selection of decorative and usable ceramics in Töpferhof. Decorative pieces, weather-resistant garden ceramics and tableware are produced there. Besides the production on the turntable is everything hand molded, modeled and built.
